Who are you?

Good question. I like to write code and talk about it here.

I joined Collective Idea in 2006 as a refugee from “Enterprise” Java development. I drank the Ruby kool-aid 1 and now spend most of my time writing awesome code in Ruby and Rails, some of which I have released as open source.

In my free time, you’ll find me with headphones in my ears, hacking on some random piece of code that I’m excited about2, playing with Linux, or, to relieve the screen burn, playing tennis with my wife.

Talk to me

Feel free to contact me via the email address to the right or IM: Jabber AIM MSN.

Talk to me in private

I’m not paranoid, I just don’t like people watching me pee, digging through my garbage, or reading my email. Grab my GPG key and send me an email (unless you like people watching you pee). Here are directions for setting up Apple Mail to send and receive encrypted email.

  1. Ruby has been known to elicit similar symptoms to drug addiction.
  2. When you love what you do, the line between work and play is rather blurry.
